Join our morning drop-in classes in Newport town centre. Open to all levels of students to practice together. These classes focus on health and wellbeing covering  a variety of Tai Chi and Qigong movements. Learn how to move the body slowly whilst improving your posture, releasing tension, strengthening your muscles and settling the mind.  New beginners are welcome to come along, join anytime.

Wednesday Morning Class @ Newport

Lesson: Tai Chi & Qigong.

Content: No Tai Chi form training in this class. Chen Tai Chi form training is currently on Tuesdays at 6.30pm in Ryde, and Thursdays at 6.00pm in Newport.

Day / Time: Wednesdays 10.30am – 11.30am.

Upcoming Dates:  11, 18 December, 8, 15, 22, 29 January, and 5, 12 February.

No Class: 4, 25 December, 1 January, and 19 February 2025.

Cost: ÂŁ8 per class

Payments: On the day. Cash or contactless credit/debit card via SumUp.

Format: Drop-in, pay as you go.

Location: Unity Hall, Vecta Lodge of Oddfellows, 20 St Thomas’ Square, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 1SG.

Directions: Come through the main doors on the square, come up two flights of stairs to doors which enter into the unity hall.

Parking: On street short stay in the surrounding roads via app or pay and display. Lugley Street pay and display car park is a short walk away from the venue, the address is 55 Lugley St, Newport PO30 5HA.
