Learn effective methods to calm the mind and relax the body, from nourishing breath work, meditation for self compassion, to Taoist meditation practices. Join the class via Zoom and learn at your own pace, guided throughout by meditation instructor Nicola. These lessons are open to everyone, new beginners welcomed.

Syllabus:

Your Location: We are based in the UK and operate on either GMT or BST (GMT+1) time zones. Lessons are available globally.

Instructor:  Nicola is a Taoist meditation instructor, offering individual guidance and tuition to students globally. She will guide you through the foundation stages of these ancient Taoist meditation practices, working with you as an individual at your own pace. Choose a time and date that is convenient to your lifestyle, and take one hour out of your working week to give your mind and body a healing boost. Using Zoom video call, set yourself up in a space in the home where you will not be disturbed. Bring a chair into this space, wear loose fitting clothes and avoid sitting in a draught or near a window/door. Nicola will talk you through the concept of Taoist Meditation and lead you through each stage whilst you relax and go within the internal body. Leaving you feeling more grounded, relaxed, less stressed and more in touch with positive emotions.

What is included in the lesson?

  • These classes are interactive and are a mixture of instructor demonstration, student observation and practice.
  • The lesson is seated.

What is included outside of the lesson?

  • The cost is for one hour of online tuition only.
  • No further resources provided.

LESSON FORMAT – Option 2: Lesson + Notes/Homework

What is included in the lesson?

  • The cost of this class includes a one hour live online tuition with instructor Nicola.
  • These classes are interactive and are a mixture of instructor demonstration, student observation, practice and correction.
  • The lesson is seated.
  • The bulk of your practice and exploration is done outside of the online class.

What is included outside of the lesson?

  1. After the lesson you will be sent homework. This may be a review of the previous lesson or self-led learning to prepare for the next lesson.
  2. Practice.
  3. Send your questions via email.
  4. You will receive feedback via email.
  5. Practice.
  6. Next lesson.

Suited To: Beginner level upwards, no experience needed. Everyone welcome from 18 years to 80 plus.

TERMS

Format: Over Zoom your instructor Nicola will guide you through 1-2-1 private tuition. The lesson will be a mixture of instructor demonstration, student observation, practice and correction. This is your lesson, so will be personalised to you.

Duration: One hour for one person.

Advance Payment Method:  Debit or credit card via the booking system.

Requirements: Highspeed broadband internet connection, web camera, computer microphone, computer speakers.

Terms: 24 hours notice for cancellations, no refunds or changes within this time frame.
